“The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them,.because they are spiritually discerned.”
1 Corinthians 2:14
This is why the natural mind can know facts
and still miss truth.
It can repeat verses and still not understand Spirit.
It can defend the letter and still not receive what the Scriptures are actually unveiling.
Because spiritual things are spiritually discerned.
That means the natural mind does not simply disagree with the things of the Spirit.
It cannot receive them.
It wants everything on the surface.
Everything historical only.
Everything literal only.
Everything measurable.
Everything controllable.
But the Spirit opens depths.
This is why Revelation says that our Lord was crucified in the great city which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt.
Now historically, yes, Jesus was crucified at Golgotha.
That is true.
But the text itself tells you there is also a spiritual dimension.
There are spiritual cities.
There is a spiritual Sodom.
There is a spiritual Egypt.
There is an inner place of bondage, lower appetite, misdirected desire, fear, slavery, and carnality.
The natural mind can acknowledge Golgotha as history, but it cannot understand spiritual cities.
It hears “spiritually called Sodom and Egypt”
and still wants to stay on the outer layer.
But the Spirit is showing us a pattern:
what happened outwardly also points inwardly.
The cross is not only something to admire historically.
It is also something to follow inwardly.
The carnal mind must be crucified.
The lower impulses must come under government.
The body must stop ruling the man.
This is not body-hatred.
This is sonship.
This is learning dominion.
Not domination.
Not denial.
Dominion.
Learning that appetite does not get the throne.
Fear does not get the throne.
Lust does not get the throne.
Reaction does not get the throne.
Love governs.
The heart opens.
Christ rules within.
And this is where people start panicking over language.
You mention the seven seals, the inner life, the deeper centers within man, what some people call chakras or energy centers, and the natural mind freaks out.
But the label is not the point.
The reality is the point.
Most people are still stuck in their first three.
They are living from survival, fear, appetite, lust,
control, and self-protection.
They have not ascended into the heart.
That is why they can speak Bible.and still not live love.
That is why they can defend religion and still carry accusation.
That is why they can say they know God and yet still be ruled by lower impulses.
The Bible is about ascension.
Not floating away into the sky.
Not escaping the earth.
Ascension is the raising of consciousness within.
It is the lower yielding to the higher.
It is the movement from appetite into love.
It is the movement from bondage into dominion.
It is the movement from carnality into the heart.
And the natural mind cannot receive that.
It only wants the fact that it knows, not the spiritual reality it has to enter.
And this is where living relationship matters so much.
When Angella Brevitz sent me her book, I read it.
And by reading it, I learned about her.
It gave me a glimpse.
It made me want to know her more.
But reading her book was not the same as knowing her.
I know her because we commune.
We talk daily.
There is living exchange.
There is presence.
There is relationship.
And as we have communed daily since October of 2025, I have come to know her more intimately than anyone else in the world.
And I have never experienced a love like that before outside my relationship with God.
I have never known a person who walks in such depth, such grace, and such beauty after overcoming the things she has overcome.
What we share is a beautiful relationship.
We see each other’s value.
We call each other higher.
We encourage each other.
We speak life into each other.
We support each other.
When she is weak, I am strong.
When I am weak, she is strong.
It is an equal partnership of love.
And all of that came through living relationship.
That is the same with the Father.
That is the same with the Holy Spirit.
That is the same with Yeshua.
You can read the writings and learn about God.
You can get a glimpse of His nature.
You can feel stirred by what is written.
But if you never commune,
if you never abide,
if you never listen,
if you never enter the secret place,
then you may know about Him without truly knowing Him.
That is why “pray without ceasing” is not religious jargon.
It is communion.
It is abiding relationship.
It is continual inward fellowship with the Father.
It is not just talking at God.
It is living with Him.
Walking with Him.
Listening.
Responding.
Remaining.
And this is exactly what the natural mind does not understand.
It wants formulas.
The Spirit invites fellowship.
It wants arguments.
The Spirit invites surrender.
It wants information.
The Spirit invites communion.
It wants the book without the Voice.
But the writings were never meant to replace relationship.
They were meant to lead you into it.
So no, we are not speaking something different.
We are speaking the truth of what the Scriptures are actually saying, and the natural mind cannot receive it because it does not understand spiritual realities.
It does not understand spiritual cities.
It does not understand inner crucifixion.
It does not understand ascension into the heart.
It does not understand abiding communion.
But once the Spirit begins unveiling, the Scriptures stop being flat.
And they become life.
That is why the invitation remains the same:
Go into the secret place.
Be still.
Commune with the Father.
Abide in the Spirit.
Follow Yeshua inwardly.
Let the lower bow to the higher.
Let the carnal mind be crucified.
Ascend into the heart.
And what the natural mind called foolishness
will begin to open as truth.
Do not settle for facts without communion.
The letter can introduce you, but only abiding will let you know Him.
Be still, ascend into the heart, and let Love teach you from within.
