If you’re a Christian, stop calling them “Jewish holy sites” in the Middle East. Those are CHRISTIAN holy sites. Those are OUR patriarchs. That’s OUR history.

If you’re a Christian, stop referring to the “Hebrew Bible,” because what THEY mean is the “Hebrews’ Bible.” But the it’s not theirs. They rejected it (John 5:46) and gave it up. It’s the Christian Old Testament, regardless of what language it was written.

The scripture couldn’t be clearer that the New Testament faith and the Old Testament faith are the same seamless, indivisible, singular faith. Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David all worshipped Jesus (John 8:56, John 5:46, 1 Corinthians 10:4, Psalm 110).

The consequence of rejecting the Messiah is rejecting any claim to the religion established by God for the anticipating, recognizing, and worshipping the Messiah. Reject Him, reject your birthright. Embrace Him, receive His birthright as your own.

Do not use terms that steal your inheritance or cede it to another. To do so is to commit the error of Esau, and hand it to another. But we are not Edomites. We are the Sons of Abraham, and rightful heirs of the promise (Galatians 3:29).

Teach your children, as you read the Scripture together, that by faith, the religion they read about in the Old Covenant is THEIRS. Start by the words you use.
